25. Because, IMO, the Greatest American
should probably be one of those who were there in the beginning. And preferably, one of those who did not own slaves.

2. That's because
Reagan single-handedly tore down the Berlin wall with his bare hands and kicked Lenin in the nuts.

That's because repubs vote
in lock step and dems don't. We vote all over the board, they zoomed in on only one person.

4. It is the grossest example of a push-pull poll.....
...since you can vote only for the five choices given and you can vote up to three times!

8. Meaningless
I looked over the list when it was at 100, so many ridiculous names on the list and so many important ones left off. I forget most of my specific examples but PAT TILLMAN? Come on, that name, while he did sacrifice his death was due to friendly fire which was covered up. I'm sure there are more I just don't recall them.

As for Reagan being a better President and a more important American, well thats complete non-sense. Everytime someone has brought that up to me all I hear is he ended the Cold War with no proof, i then go through my list of FDR's achievements and that conversation ends.

10. Gorbachev
I always wonder how Reagan gets the credit for tearing down the berlin wall when it really should go to gorbachev?? his reforms started the beginning of the end of the soviet system

9. Sadly, I believe it.
But on a note of grace, the studio audience soundly booed the Reagan name when announced.

12. I'll never forget Reagan's presidency. Three wage and benifit
concessions and the employer still closed the door on the factory and open a new one in Mexico..

13. Oh for the love of God...Franklin, MLK, Lincoln and Washington...
Yeah, the only one missing from that impressive lot is a dim-wit 2nd rate actor. I guess compared to Shrub, Reagan's terd of a presidency looks pretty impressive to the Freeptards.

16. Y'all, do you figure that the American public is mistaking popularity for
greatness (once again)? This is The Peoples Choice Awards in their eyes, not who made this country unique and a model for other nations (once a upon a time . . . )

The Reagan vote is nostalgia, respect for the dead, and denial that he was not a hero. Nothing more.

18. Father's Day - PUDGE's Father (Fed Bureaucrat)
http://www.refdesk.com/

http://www.nndb.com/people/079/000026001/

Drudge is widely whispered to be gay. "I go to bars", Drudge once explained. "I go to straight bars, I go to gay bars." When photographed, he is almost invariably dressed like a 1930s muckraker from the movies, complete with a "press style" hat that could not be gayer if it was lavender.

Father: Bob Drudge (webmaster, refdesk.com)
Boyfriend: David Cohen (Washington landscaper, and Drudge's ex-lover, according to Cohen)
