3. Hands down, the "left wing conspiracy" and control by "liberal elites"
Yeah, that's one hell of a conspiracy, having ZERO control of any branch of government.

4. Creationism or "Intelligent Design"
I've seen Biblical literalists going to great lengths to deny the age of the Earth or the reality of evolution through natural selection. Some of them seem like intelligent people, but they've got blinders on when it comes to science.

5. Just this morning from my pet repuke:
I see results. We have not been attacked on U.S. soil since 9/11. Iraq, for all the insurgencies, is still forming a free government

:puke:

This is just one line out of the book he wrote me over the weekend.
I keep this little repuke going all the time. I send a little jab on Friday just to keep his mind occupied for the week end. I know it is bad of me but after all, he is a repuke and deserves what he gets.

8. I voted for other
only because there was no "all of the above." Deciding on the superbly fine distinctions among the levels of lunacy among the various types is impossible for me

12. tell him you support democracy in Iraq enough to let them...
tell us when to leave and who gets to pump their oil. Until Bush does that, the Iraqi gov't is between a rock and a hard place. If they don't ask for those things, they will be seen as US puppets. If they do ask to aggressively or effectively...well, you just can't tell who made that car bomb, can you?

21. Remind him of the time between the first WTC attack and the second.
Whenever I hear someone spout the line about not being attacked since 9/11 I mention that. Usually shuts them up.

24. "No attacks, so it must be working"
It reminds me of the Sesame Street sketch where Ernie has a banana in his ear. It keeps away alligators - and he hasnt seen any alligators so it must be working.

6. Anything Rush Limbaugh says on taxes "We are the most taxed..."
people on earth. If you look at CBO tax tables, for most of us it's been pretty constant over the last 30 or so years, and for the very wealthy, they have gone DOWN, especially when you throw in capital gains and inheritance tax cuts.

20. Is Rush talking about the U.S.?
Almost every other country is more taxed than we are...one of the reasons we are in this mess is because the rich and corporations aren't taxed enough... if there's one thing I've learned in my world travels, it's that you simply can't have a decent society without a social safety net...and do you think all the poor and middle class people pay for the whole thing in these other countries??? NO, the rich and corporations pay their fair share.

7. George Bush would never lie...
and your are un-American for calling him a liar.

This is what my cousin told my wife and I last time we spoke with him (in March). I have been close with my cousin over the years, but unfortunately he is becoming a fascist tool.

Every time they find something that is not in their favor in the media it is branded as part of a vast conspiracy.

10. All of them. I'm sick and tired of hearing the same bull
day in and day out. It's always about the left wing and our lied? OUR media? our immoral values? etc, etc, etc.

One of these days, they're going to run into the brick wall while looking behind for the rioting mob...what a pretty sight that will be.

to use drugs

No war on ignorance, abuse, lonliness, pain, poverty, prejudice and addiction

26. Saddam's involvement in 9/11
Even AFTER it has been universally accepted as false, the jackasses still actually argue this with a straight face.

It's almost sad. Almost.
