Edited on Mon Jun-20-05 11:44 AM by LynnTheDem
He keeps saying Iraq was a THREAT...to the USA! :wow:
IRAQ??! A tiny little country that had NO airforce, NO navy, and less than ONE TENTH the army they had back in 1991, when we kicked their asses to hell and back.
IRAQ??!! A weak defefnseless little nothing of a country that had NO WMD since 1991, and they didn't even use WMD against us in 1991 when they actually had the stuff!
IRAQ?????!!! POWELL and RICE said Iraq couldn't even get conventional weapons, and was totally contained and defenseless!
In order for IRAQ to be any threat to the USA, America would have to be the weakest little 3rd world nation on the planet!
HOW DARE bush imply America is just a weak little 3rd world nation!
*THINK about it, rightwingnuts...you stupidest MFers on the planet.

1. We didn't attack Iraq because it was strong and dangerous. |
|
We attacked it because it was weak and available. It was the low lying fruit the neocons wanted to pick off. We were going to fuck up an arab country real bad, scare all the bad guys, and show them that we could rebuild it in the conservative, free market prowestern image we desired.
But it turns out that the palooka won't stay down for the count.

3. I see what you're saying and it's a good point. |
|
It makes about as much sense as the FBI saying that their biggest domestic threat right now is from the animal rights groups.

6. The whole RW/religious BS routine is based on |
|
the "weakness" strategy.
You're right, the USA is "weak." So are the RW Xtain religious beliefs, which are so weak that they're trying to outlaw any competing religious beliefs. Their god - Jeebus - is also an extremely weak god in that he can't take care of himself but needs propping up by radical RW groups, groups that will stoop to murder to accomplish his mission of love. And, Jeebus' message is also very, VERY weak as - if you're to believe the RW nutjobs - the entire USA is turning into a big heathen cesspool. Can you imagine - god's chosen nation is turning against him and embracing the horror!! All because the ad campaign for Snapple is more powerful than JC's message of salvation.
Who woulda thunk it?

8. Regime Change Is Not A Reason To Go To War |
|
That is all this was a Regime Change. Saddam did not want to play ball with the US, so we thought up ways to oust him out... Aren't we the clever ones?

Such statements are confessions of weakness and cowardice, and it is hard to say which is more detestable.

12. It clearly was a threat |
|
by attacking Iraq qw have are large expensive military force stuck in Iraq. Removing the threat on more dangerous countries of real active use of force against them. The threat Iraq posed was that of a worthless adventure that would waste are military might when the real war on terror and arms proliferation was else where. Only a president of low quality would fall for such a trap. And yet here we are still stuck there. With no hope of leaving, with nothing gained, and with Terrorism booming in the very country we attacked. What crap. What moran voted for these people twice?
