They sure aren't my adversaries. I consider them my heros, anyone that will tell bush like it is, is all right by me.

4. France is our friend
we are just too stupid to realize it.

kind of like when a friend has a drug problem, and other friends get together to intervine. The addict nearly ALWAYS blames the friends and calls them enemies

8. The answer is "yes"
Unfortunately, at the moment, France is an adversary of the US--in that it has taken an adversarial position on US foreign policy as it pertains to Iraq. In my opinion, France is right to do so, and it is the US that has caused this adversarial relationship.

It boggles the mind that the US would have the gall to go to the World community and ask for financial and military help in Iraq, when it 'went it alone' in the war. Does the phrase, "you break it, you buy it" have any meaning anymore?

9. A poorly phrased question to say the least.
On first take, I'd say NO - they're just a good ally, and good allies don't let friends drive drunk into imperialism.

On the other hand, I'd say YES - the bushies have forced France - and the rest of the world - into an adversarial position. It is no longer the US that is the shining beacon of hope in the world; it is no longer the US that cares about human and civil rights; etc. The rest of the world is correct to oppose us at this time. When we grow up and return to the world community, France and the rest of the world will welcome us back with open arms.

12. This is really tragic
France has been the best ally of the United States. France has been with the US since the very beginning. It really boggles my mind that within the short time of this illegimate administration this friendship is being being strained to the breaking point.

13. GO F*UCK YOURSELVES MSGOP
I wrote those bastards a pretty explicit response about their devisive question. These types of questions are driving the US into more and more of an isolationist policy. MSGOP LIVES! <--I actually wrote that to them :)

17. What a stupid fucking question.
I swear that MSNBC keeps digging it's grave deeper and deeper in an attempt to win over fox viewers. Talk about lousy management.

Here's the more appropriate question: Is America an adversary to the world?

26. Vive la France...
It's funny how O'Reilly tries to make Chirac look like such an "anti-American" President. Imagine if Socialist candidate Lionel Jospin or National Front candidate Jean-Marie Le Pen had been elected!!!

Chirac = center-right Gaullist (de Gaulle not a cooperative man with US imperialism himself), but that's a hell of a lot better for America than a Socialist or near-Fascist.

More than 1/2 the country thinks France is an adversary. I wonder what they'd say about Russia, China, and Germany?
