The topic is, among other aspects, BCCI, which is called a bank. But it was more than that. It was a real full service institution, providing bags of cash to the CIA for covert operations, brokering arms deals, helping Pakistan build nuclear facilities, supplying the Mujahedeen in Afghanistan with arms (paid for by the Saudis, acting for the CIA)... emad here on DU keeps us informed on the current trial regarding BCCI in London.
