Christian Coalition forms JUDICIAL TASK FORCE for fair up-or-down votes

"BRAWWWK! Up-or-down-vote! Up-or-down-vote! BRAWWWWWK!"

======
WASHINGTON, June 20 /Christian Wire Service/ -- Christian Coalition of America announced today the formation of its new Judicial Task Force, created to ensure that the U.S. Senate allows fair "up or down" votes on all nominees to the federal judiciary. In anticipation of a pending vacancy on the U.S. Supreme Court and in light of past Senate obstruction and filibusters, it is critical that pro-life and pro-family Americans speak up and have their voices heard in this process.

The Christian Coalition's Judicial Task Force is being created to prepare Christian conservatives for what will surely be the most significant cultural and political battles of our lifetime. The Task Force will link thousands of pro-family activists all across America via phone, fax and the latest tools of the Internet to ensure quick and effective action as more judicial nominations are made.

"Given the increased influence that the judiciary has on the daily lives of average Americans as well as our values, the future of our federal courts is the single most important political issue facing Christian citizens today," said Roberta Combs, Christian Coalition President. "The heart and soul of the battle to come will center on the U.S. Supreme Court, and right now the Court hangs in the balance."

"Christian conservatives have a shared dream of seeing an America that once again protects the unborn, upholds morality and honors our faith and to a great degree that depends on what happens in the courts," Combs said. "And that depends on what we do right now."

The Coalition will seek to organize branches of the Task Force with coordinators in all fifty states. It will involve creating a national network of thousands of individuals who volunteer to be ready to mobilize at a moments notice and make phone calls, send emails, faxes and telegrams to elected officials when action is needed.

2. I have an idea.
If they dislike the American courts so much, why don't they pack it up and leave? In America, we protect the right to freedom of religious expression and the right of a woman's privacy. If they don't like it, I hear Saudi Arabia is nice this time of year - plus, they welcome religious fanatics.

I've no doubt ANYONE would miss them.

3. Their dream of theocracy is within their reach
But American's won't go down without a fight. These nutbags don't seem to get that they comprise only about 17% of the population. The other 80% will unite against them. And, when denied basic freedoms, what do they think American's will do? Roll over? I don't think so.

The 33% who vote republican are slowly switching sides as they wake up to the theocratic-neocon take over of America (which is in no ones best interest...except a very tiny small number of 'chosen'). Most republicans are libertarians, and these psycho's are anything but..

I just hope the dems stay united and hang tough, before the take over of the courts solidifies American fascism.

5. Fundie Fascists are like a virus...
Moderate and Liberal Christians should be speaking out against these Fascists as Bill Moyers and former Pres. Carter have been doing.
