BushCo: Power, Hatred, and a Nuclear Arsenal.
I've never in my life seen, nor have I ever read about a president of the United States who relied upon unrelenting hatred to scam so many Americans.

Whether that hatred has been targeted at those of us who thought Iraq was a con job, or that tax cuts for the rich was a ripoff, or that gays were a threat to us, or the non-existent "liberal media", or those of us who think that BushCo is a dangerous threat to our freedoms, we're dealing with some of the worst criminals imaginable.

Attila, Caligula, Napoleon, Mussolini, Hitler: none of them had a nuclear arsenal at their fingertips. BushCo does. Call me paranoid, but I believe that if they feel that their power/authority/control is threatened, they'll do whatever they have to do: A MIHOP incident, or perhaps even pushing "the nuclear button" if that's their last option. Aimed at who? Take your pick. Some of them may opt for San Francisco, but that would be a very hard story to sell after the fact.

These people will not give up power without a fight. I don't remember who said it, but "Those who ride tigers dare not dismount."

1. ...and when the horse is dead...
its time to get off. Your fears are certainly justified, but....if its any consolation...good will come out of this...probably long after we're gone...but it always does triumph..eventually.

2. Good has triumphed many times. However,
no how many time you cut the head off the dragon, the son-of-a-bitch keeps coming back.

I guess that it's part of human nature, but maybe we should start viewing people like Bush/Cheney/Rove/DeLay et al, as mentally disturbed people, badly in need of help.

And more importantly, perhaps we need a way to identify their conditions way before they ever reach positions of power.

To put this less politely, we're being governed by lunatics.
