Damn! KGW News just interviewed a paralyzed soldier back from Iraq
He is paralyzed from the neck down and is back in Portland. He had a chance to meet Rumsfeld while in the hospital. Rumsfeld tried to shake his hand. Asshole, he can't move his hand! The soldier feels we should get out now. He said that we tried and can't do any more.

When I hear stories like this one, I get so angry at this administration.

1. That is very sad
It is good, though, that the media is interviewing those who are paying the price for bush's decisions. It helps get the truth out.

2. If that doesn't illustrate Rummy's connection to reality!
These assholes have absolutely no understanding of cause and effect, i.e., all the ended and shattered lives that they have caused.

If he could shake Rumsfield's hand, wonder if he would want to.

It's not stupidity, it's just that they don't give a damn.

3. I know how you feel
All the dead and families torn apart. I remember reading back late last year that there were 900 children who were either orphaned or without a parent due to this occupation. I wonder how many now.

4. This one man is one of thousands and it makes me sick
I am so ashamed that this is being done in our name.

5. Rumsfeld: "oh, don't wanna shake my hand huh?"
"well tough boy, you go to invade with the army you have. You'd be just as paralyzed if you'd been in a tank that got blown up, as in the unarmored humvee you were blown up in"
