Bush - A Clam At High Tide
My mind's eye sees Bush cowering behind pickles skirt in dread of Impeachment. Then I consider the facts: He doesn't read the papers and even if he did the chances of him seeing the word "impeachment" is slim. There's not much chance he'd hear the word on any country music station. If he caught a NASCAR race on the tube over the weekend there's not a snowball's chance he heard it there. You know Rove isn't mentioning it and Cheney gives directions, not advice. I doubt that Condi's sweet nothings include the "I" word either. So tell me again, how does he know he's in trouble? Maybe the twins will clue daddy in.

1. I think the blivet knows everything that is going on.
He's taking the stupid stance of no mistakes, no retreat, no surrender. I just don't think it's working, and is working less as time goes by. Maybe he needs some new blood but I think they are all out of clues on how to 'fix' this.

2. I really doubt that the US House will initiate impeachment.
As much as we want it to happen, it won't without control of the House.

9. No, your legacy will be the same as everyone's: a mess for the future.
And when giant cockroaches are excavating us in 200,000 years, they will say to each other, "Damn, were they stupid."

3. Well, from what I've read, his sole mission, from even before he
got elected, was to take over Iraq. So that would be the failure he will have to endure. Along with the blood of thousands on his hands ( Scratch that == it probably wouldn't enter his consciousness )

So I suppose someone is telling him ( he could not surpise or educate himself to the fact ) that ALL IS NOT WELL.

He probably thinks he has this giant fan base ( They didn't tell him that they had to cheat to get him selected) and all he has to do is just repeat the same bullshit. Hmm rude awakening. Thank god Everyone is not a moron.....

4. He talks regularly to God
Edited on Mon Jun-20-05 09:19 PM by sheeptramp
Maybe tonight God tells him, "Stop talking and listen for a minute you bumbling oil-soaked Simpleton! I ought to smite ye now where you sit. You and this parcel of assholes you call your staff and advisors have blown it, and you've blown it bad. It is well and truley fucked and you are the fucker numero uno. Comprende amigo?......."

God continues to rant but George has already had his nightly single-malt and Xanax, and drifts off smiling peacefully like a child.

8. Your post just reminded me of a show on Comedy Central that got the
hook right after 9/11 called "That's My Bush"! Although the suspension of the show right after the attack was understandable, it could sure come back to great appreciation. Comedy Central did a marathon a while back, so we taped it.
