i'm sure they think they're prepared for that, and i'm sure they've underestimated our level of anger out here in taxpayer land.

hell, after the way we've treated them the last 5 years, they assume we'll accept any damn atrocity and go back to work in quiet desperation. they think we're ALL dumbasses out here, but some of us got a clue.

i'm sure they've noticed the grumbling and rumbling across the land, and they've got to be getting just a little bit nervous. but no one is stopping them, so they figure what the hell, we're going for the whole enchilada. and they will.

but when your average schmo and flo figure it all out and the tide and the worm finally turn, it ain't gonna be pretty.

Nobody rioted or stood up in the great depression.

When the economy collapses, they won't again either.

There was a huge amount of discontent and civil disobedience during the Great Depression. The violence against the Bonus Army is just one example. The Red Scare got its' roots in the depression and was used against labor at every turn. Criminal activity of all kinds skyrocketed. Until the New Deal got hold, this country was headed towards a revolution.
