What do you do when you have an unpopular war? |
|
http://www.americablog.org/You make sure to change the subject and throw out the name of the guy you talked about but forgot about years ago. Is there really anything newsworthy in talking about Bin Laden right now? http://edition.cnn.com/2005/US/06/20/goss.bin.laden/index.html

1. They are digging deep for DSM deflections. |
|
Getting their echo chamber to say DSM is fake, and getting the MSM to report on bullshit like Saddam's breakfast and Bin Laden's whereabouts.
Oh, and there's another missing white kid. Don't get me wrong, I'm as concerned about missing kids as anyone else...but since when has it become front-page national news every time a kid turns up missing?

How bout the fact that he's still running around and it's a failure of the American Government, particularly Bush, to put the emphasis on the true villain behind 9/11...
Iraq had nothing to do with it. Nada. Zip. Zero. The best they could come up with is an uncorroborated story than an Iraqi intelligence agent once had coffee with an Al Qaeda guy in Eastern Europe...
No. It's important to bring up Bin Laden because we've taken our eye off the ball. We've been distracted by Bush from the true bad guy, simply so he could provide nice heavy lucrative contracts to his political donors.

3. So the intelligence that took us to war in Iraq was fake? |
|
Funny how forged documents are only an issue when they hurt Republicans.

4. We went to war for freedom |
|
Don't you pay attention? We went to war to free the Iraqi people from a brutal dictator and bring them democracy. Sheesh.

invade some other country to divert attention from the unpopular invasion of the first country...
prior to invading Iraq - when asked about it, bush said "..there are no plans on my desk to attack Iraq..." at that point we knew the invasion was just a matter of time... although - in light of how well things are going in Iraq - you could make the point that there were NO plans on bush's desk or any other desk
in Feb. or March he was asked about invading Iran - "Ridiculous!" he exclaimed... we know it's coming, just a matter of time and with his approval numbers at his lowest point ever - he needs another terrattack or war to rebuild his political capital account
