Honestly, I have no problem with Bayh using a custom webform. From owning a company who deals with tens of thousands of SPAM emails a day, it's an excellent idea. I know what you had to say was important, but the webform certainly cuts down on garbage emails that his office gets.

That kind of dismissive reply from an elected official is a dead giveaway that he doesn't give a crap about your issue and is looking for an excuse to ingore you.

I always want to respond by saying, Hey Jackass, I'm your employer, and I happen to have to work for a living so I used a convenient means of communicating with you. Excuse me all to hell for not jumping through the correct hoop! If hearing from the people who pay you is such a pain, maybe you should come home and get a real job!

This smells like a bot that picked up your IP and decided you were trying to spam him. Was this from a link from DU or another site?

I've noticed a couple sites will block a link from DU now. To get around it...just google the site on a seperate browser page.
