A Hilarious Comment A Rightie Just Told Me Just A Few Moments Ago
He said, "I used to be a Democrat, but I got tired of my tax dollars going to people too lazy to work."

I responded...

"So know your a Republican, because you like your tax dollars going to KILL PEOPLE?"

I thought it was a pretty good response. :smoke:

25. Perhaps
He was a Democrat along the lines of Strom Thurmond? In that case he technically wouldn't be lying.

8. Corporate welfare costs more than personal welfare.
Republicans don't seem to mind that.

13. He's looking in the wrong direction-it ain't the poor who are screwing him
its the rich.

A time honored classic diversion to focus attention away from where it should be and to pit the middle class against the poor and whites against blacks. It works that is why they have been doing it for centuries.

Don't forget corporate welfare outnumbers individual welfare by 10-to-1.

24. Well there's an argument from 20 years ago
When was the last time we had a good economy with a Republican in the White House? Then he should have been delighted with the Clinton Administration because the welfare rolls plummeted and millions of unemployed or underemployed people went to work.
