Bush to travel to Vietnam

(AP) June 21, 2005 - President Bush says he will be traveling to Vietnam next year, as that country hosts a summit of leaders from Pacific Rim nations.

Bush made the announcement as he met with Vietnam's visiting prime minister at the White House. It's the first visit by a Vietnamese leader to the US since the end of the war there 30 years ago.

12. HEY! HEY! HEY NOW!
Little Georgie was proudly defending American airspace from surprise Vietnamese air attacks in Texas. Little Georgie even pulled above and beyond the call of duty, by trying to occupy all the booze, drugs, and prostitutes, so soldiers about to be shipped off to the war in Vietnam would not be troubled by these destructive activities and could focus on the enemy.

10. Ironic that thanks to the violence
and mayhem he unleashed, the chimp can't set foot in Iraq - except for a ridiculous fake turkey photo op in a heavily guarded airport hanger. Yet, he can travel without fear to the now-peaceful country of Vietnam, evacuated by US troops 30 years ago after our last big failed foreign clusterfuck.

How long will it take the Iraqis to get their country back? How much longer before tourists can again set foot in a peaceful Baghdad?

16. Especially ironic because Clinton re-established relationships
with VN. Kerry led the effort after his committee dealt with the POW/MIA work. (His reward: the SBVT liars used his 1993 photo with VN leaders as proof that he was a hero to the VN. )
