College Republicans: Teaching a new generation to hate.
As an old ad said: "A mind is a terrible thing to waste."

Yet, students who join "College Republican" groups are turning their backs on the education they're supposed to be receiving.

Never mind courses like history, science, philosophy or the classics. That's just a bunch of "crap" they have to pay some attention to to get a passing grade.

The really important courses to (many) Republicans are:

How to fix an election; Learning to shriek the word "liberal" at anyone who disagrees with you; How to conduct a lynching; Using the Constitution as toilet paper; How to make people hate each other; Getting morons to back your crusades; The importance of a fetus over a living being; ... Well, you get the idea.

What a fucking waste of time and money. And what a disaster for what our country used to be about.

1. They claim to have 120,00 members
So I say 'sign up and back up your support for W by joining his army. And you can fight his war for him. You all can replace the folks who don't deserve to be there'
It's Bush's War!

6. Not if you divide it up the right way
Well yes, it's 10 divisions, but only light divisions. A good heavy division takes about 17,000 to 20,000.

So you could make 3 heavy divisions of 20,000 each, and then 5 light divisions of 12,000 each, giving a total of 8 divisions.

4. We need young Republicans in college...
It's the only place they will even have a chance to get a real education. And, if they decide to go ahead and get one, we've added more Democrats to the fold. Thinking adults do tend to vote for Democrats.

3. Aren't "College Republicans" an oxymoron?
Since Republicans have been pointing out for decades that "colleges are liberal brainwashing camps" - and don't get me started on "anti-intellectual" attacks by the RW dittoheads . . .

7. Yeah, there's a college republican newspaper on my campus...
I got quite disgusted when I picked it up and read it. Pure hate speach- ranting about queers, and wetbacks, and welfare queens and how international students are unamerican.

8. "A mind is a terrible thing not to have."
That was uttered by Dan Quayle who was trying to say, "A mind is a terrible thing to waste."

However, in the case of College Republicans, I guess Quayle's statement is accurate.

The purpose of college is not to teach you what to think, but how to think. Unfortunately, most College Repugs will never learn this. For all practical purposes, these people are being trained to be the next generation of the Karl Rove's of the world.

9. Let's award them all Yellow Elephants
for all the warmongers who, like Cheney, have "other priorities" than fighting this misbegotten war. They support it. Kind of. Sort of. As long as it doesn't interrupt their chauvinistic, racist, spoiled brat misogyny.
Cowardly little boys (hardly any girls, of course) who think they're going to be the next Donald Trump. Just cause they vote 'publican.
They're so brave. From their far distance.
I really detest these little creeps.

10. All of the college repukes are always bitching about how the
university paper has such a "liberal bias" so one time i was having lunch with a friend and a guy she knew. the guy started talking about how the college republicans are going to start a paper because the uni. paper was full of "liberal lies" and we need something that "tells students the truth around here" I just gave him a dirty look and walked away. i have yet to see that repuke paper he was talking about (dont know if they ever got around to doing it...) the college republicans at my school are so pathetic. the uni. dems had a tables set up every day before the election registering people to vote but the only place the repubs managed to go were the fraternities.
