2. Ahnuld is OVER
He gets booed and protested everywhere he goes. He made the grievous California error of taking on the teachers' and nurses' unions.

That nazi fuck is TOAST. I can't wait until I am there to drive him out of office.

7. That's true, but I was referring to the recall
All Arhnuld had to do was show up, which he did.

Californians had a hard lesson to learn, which they did.

12. Not as Big Business, but as "Special Interests" as opposed to those
that support ahnold which are ACTUALLY Big Business and Special Interests!

Reasons ahnold (and media and whoever) cited for recalling Gov Davis
Car tax was going to triple
Davis approval in low 30's, high 20's
Budget mess
Too much time fundraising
Raising a lot of money

Current state of those reasons;
Car tax - Actually Vehicle License Fee (VLF) is still 2%, it's been 2% for I think 40 years or more! What REALLY changed was an OFFSET to the VLF in the form of a credit(67% of VLF) that was legislated into effect during a time of BUDGET SURPLUS and had language that mandated the END of the OFFSET if the Budget returned to DEFICIT. Deregulation = Enron = Faux energy crisis = Plunder of Cali Treasury by Texas gas companies(Operation Fuck Aunt Millie) = BUDGET DEFICIT = NO MORE OFFSET.

So since the OFFSET was 67% of the VLF then it meant someone who had a VLF of $300 and an OFFSET of -$200 and would pay $100 under good economic times was now going to have to pay the original VLF of $300 and the NOTAXFORANYREASONERS spun that to mean the VLF was going to be TRIPLED by DAVIS, which in the reality based world is a LIE. Ahnold went further saying he was going to not simply restore the OFFSET which he did, but he said he was going to cut the VLF by 2/3rds, which he DID NOT. The VLF was 2% of the vehicle price(with a sliding scale based on age, 1st year it is full 2%, 2nd year it is 2% of 90% of the value, etc) and it is STILL 2% with the same damn scale. Ahnold simply restored the OFFSET against the original intent of the legislation which had sound budgetary aspect of looking ahead to leaner times.

Also the VLF goes to pay for things like Firefighters, Police, etc and while consumers ate their OFFSET cake and had it too, the cities got screwed on the backside with a DIRECT hit to their budgets. No one asked those that were bamboozled into thinking the OFFSET was free money the question this way(aka - the HONEST way);

If Ahnold is elected and restores the OFFSET which only save YOU money if you buy a car, would you be willing to shut down your local firehouse to pay for that potential savings?

Approval ratings See above - nuff said there.

Budget Mess Still here. Ahnold's most famous solution to the budget shortfall? "Open da books!" Ahnold claimed that Davis was secretive about the budget and was hiding all sorts of things and all one needed to do to find an additional $40 BILLION was simply pry the backroom budget out of Davis' hands and *poof*, No Problem! Hey, Ahnold, the budget is/was a public document and anyone could get a copy of it from the State or hell, you could've DOWNLOADED it from the State website and given it a once over, joined Davis and been part of the soulution you lied to everyone about that was there, just "hidden".

Times the media called him on his ridiculous phrase "Open da books"? ZERO

Too much time fundraising Ahnold's done MORE than Davis

Raising a lot of money Ahnold's raised TWICE AS MUCH as Davis in HALF the time

Time for a TOTAL RECALL of this fucker. The only saving grace may be that his stint at "playing" Governor has ended his political career forever.

6. Unfortunately in Chimpy's case he's going to be able to pull off more
crimes against this country and humanity for three plus more years. Unless somehow he's impeached. And I don't hold out much hope for that. I do believe people are waking up, but I believe the layer of corruption is so thick that we'll play hell getting down to Chimpy.

9. A little imagination then
would indicate that San Fran is the next terrorist target. Raise two sinking ships with one huge man-made disaster.

"Hey, it worked before."
