This poll confirms a trend in Bush's polling numbers. He has been steadily dropping in the polls since his inaugeration. The only exception are the two huge jumps he got after 9-11 and when he invaded Iraq. After these jumps, his number started to decline again immediately. These number are solid. Bush is in trouble.
Clark's high numbers are more the result of sudden public interest much like Bush's two spikes. Clark's number will decline rapidly unless he does something to make them hold. I am a Clark supporter, but the race is still wide open.
