Tuesday Blues.
The sheer shame of it all:

Downing Street Minutes

John Bolton's nomination and likely appointment during Senate recess.

The rape of the judiciary

Fraud at the polling places nationwide

An unjust war

America attacked without effective response

The currency gutted

Poverty on the increase

A true national crisis in accessibility because of afford ability of health care

Regressive changes to the tax system

Effective repeal of portions of the Bill of Rights

and, a failing educational system that will leave us defenseless to combat the root causes of each of the items above.

All of this at 53 months into a 96 month term that some would have stretch far into the future.

We are faced with a President who's words can not be trusted by friend or foe, domestic or international. A man of such low moral character and intelligence that at once it is impossible, when considering any utterance by the man, to tell if he's lying or not smart enough to see through his own arguments.

I do not know of any other time in our history at which this country has been held in such low esteem internationally.

It got this way under the watchful eye or our own Congress and the press, both print and electronic. The Internet revolution didn't even slow it down. Many people knew what was going on, most in this country applauded as it happened.

There is effective mechanism in Government to stop the revolution that is taking place right before our eyes. The voice of the minority has been drown out by a vocal majority who's din is so loud that even as it shrinks it seems to grow.

And how will we, as a nation celebrate our own Independence just two weeks from now? With a recess appointment to the most politically and personally disagreeable person who could be found to represent us before the world.
