How many more? (even the troops know we need to get out of Iraq)
Edited on Tue Jun-21-05 02:05 PM by Generator
Last night, our local NBC news affiliate had an interview with a young man back from Iraq. Paralyzed from the neck down. Beautiful eyes and face....(how many more like him it's hard to fathom)

He's not sad he went to Iraq (such courage) but "We need to bring the troops home."

"We tried to help, they don't want our help anymore."

How many more?

On edit: It sounds condescending to say EVEN the troops-of course they know better than anyone..I was just saddened and heartened at the same time that he had the courage to say this..and it was shown in the interview. How you can watch this and ask them to sacrifice and sacrifice for WHAT exactly?

3. Hi ollie--welcome!
And I'm glad that person was given air time. Perhaps in the first month we were welcomed there. But Bush and co. had to save the money for their friends and cohorts. Had they been honest and shared the rebuilding process, we would be home by now and we would have more support.
