Someone should make the rounds to all the local VFW posts, and American Legion posts and invite them down to see people mock dead soldiers.

2. I think the Phelps-bots are getting desperate...

I think they are TRYING to provoke an assault, so they can SUE (beats working) and it hasn't been paying off.

So now they changed targets to a group more likely to beat the shit out of them: Grieving military families.

So if you go, make sure things stay peacable!

If you have a big enough group, have everybody form a ring around the funeral party. Be wearing t-shirts (or if you can't afford them, be carrying signs) that say "Hate is not a Christian Value".

Be peaceful, do not disrupt the funeral. Try not to let Phelps and his jagoffs get past you but don't engage with them. Be better than them (as if that takes much).

With any luck the local media may pick it up and make Phelps and his cronies look like a-holes and you guys look like heroes.
