Yet, I think he completely missed the emails about Milbank's article "Democrats Play House to Rally Against the War".

1. He did not actually miss them.

He just decidedly ignored them, alongside his disillusioned partners in crime.

Remember the likes of the people involed in PNAC do not live in reality, they create reality. Then they try to force everyone to live inside that reality, much like friends to democracy, the fundamentalists.

3. The letters were in response to a previous Milbank column

on June 8th about the Bush-Blair press conference.

Milbank's June 18th column about the DSM hearing undoubtedly resulted in many more letters to the Post, and perhaps the ombudsman will respond to those the next time.

It is becoming a full-time job for the ombudsman to field complaints about Milbank.

4. Geewhizzakers - this explains it all!

"Unfortunately, it has never been announced or explained to Post readers that reporter Milbank is also now columnist Milbank."

And damn that FAIR!:

"This is also understandable because FAIR neglected to tell its subscribers that this was clearly marked as a "Washington Sketch" and not a news story."

It's amazing how cavalier the Post is, considering the carnage - on all sides.
