CNN: I guess he assumes his audience is made up entirely of Christians.

6. This Is The Distraction For THe Distraction
Now let's switch back to Aruba where we still have our crash news crew investigating that poor girl's disappearance and the sudden disappearance of mass quantities of liquor billed to CNNServative.

The cynic in me says there's someone in the CNNServative control room hoping a corpse shows up...these happy endings are great, but a good corpse means the story can go on for weeks and months.

3. That, or we could thank the people who took part in the search effort

But, hell, at least he didn't say we should thank Bush for his guidance during this mess.

We're not at that extreme yet...

7. My thoughts, exactly.
I swore at the tv-just came upstairs from working on the plumbing - clicked past bitcher, hoping for some evidence of the continuing downfall of the berserker regime. Damn him!!

9. I'm just glad they found him
It sure wasn't just a distraction for him, his family and those looking for him. This time perseverance won.

11. BTW-Isn't the idea of a 'boy scout" "lost in the mountains" just a bit...
Edited on Tue Jun-21-05 05:30 PM by MazeRat7
IRONIC ?

That should be the story. What a putz this kid was for getting lost.
Are they going to make him "pay" for rescue costs ? Perhaps throw him in
juvie ? (ala Runaway bride)

If he or his family can't pay the rescue cost....maybe they will put him back where they found him and let him get his own ass home.
Gezzzzzz

MZr7

edit: oops spelling.. I hate that.
