DU'ers Bitching To Durbin- What Did YOU Do To Support Him? Send Money
call his office? Email?

Did you write letters to the editor, bombast the mediawhores?

And what did you do to get Hostettler CENSURED, huh?

That topic sank like a freaking stone.

1. I sent him a very long email of support.
I told he to keep on speaking the truth. Bushie has RAPED the name of America and people like Durbin are needed to tell the truth about the horrors of the Bush administration.

Dickless Durbin...at one time, I wanted him to be the Democratic Senate Leader.

4. i emailed durbin........but then i am not bitchin either
i dont like the kinda apology. pisses me off. not so much durbin, pisses me off more at the repugs and media than i was already pissed off at them for.

we the people are just as much a part of creating this situation we are in.

people keep yelling at dems to do this and that. dems get fucked everytime they open their mouth. that is what happens when repugs control media. yet we keep yelling at dems to go on this media anyway, and get fucked on air

odd place to be now a days

5. Not a damn thing.. nor should I have to.
Relating facts, based in truth, is not something someone should need "support" to do.

6. Dear CryingShame.....all Durbin had to do was mirror what
Amnesty International did, which was to stick by their story and ask bigger and broader questions about our conduct.

Mr. Durbin of course does not need my opinion, however, what I have been observing in our elected officials lately has been behavior that is akin to cowering......and that simply has to stop.

People are dying.... and he allowed his well put statements to become the news, rather than the atrocities.... I wanted him to stick to his guns and not be intimidated.

It has absolutely nothing to do with money, donations, email and letters to the editor.

It has to do with the convictions of his words and not wavering.

7. So,
we have to bribe or caress the egos of those in our Party to tell the truth? Why are you demonizing DUers for insisting our elected leaders stick up for us and themselves? You ought to be climbing down Daley's neck, not DUers.

8. I sent a letter of support
I'm rather disappointed now.

If he HAD to apologize, he should've been a smartass about it..."I'm sorry your policies are so messed up that someone might mistake our soldiers for nazis. It truly isn't their fault. Its this administration's policies. And that ain't no lie."
