I watched it on week 1 of the NFL season. It is almost like, "gee he has been begging us for months to get a gig, let's just put him in the corner and pretend he is important."
He adds nothing to the show whatsoever, except maybe now some dittoheads watch it to boost hte ratings. Unfortunatley for ESPN manya re also tuning out.

2. I'd refer to it as a "Bad Career Move by an ESPN Executive" |
|
Hopefully he'll put his foot in his big mouth ASAP and be done with.

3. I refuse to watch it now. |

The quality of their pre-game show has been going down over the past couple of years; this was a feeble attempt at boosting it.
I like Bartcop's comment how Pigboy has to sit by himself over at the little table - just like at family Thanksgiving dinner. Ha!

I have not watched a single moment of ESPN programming since they announced the blow hard was going to be on. I am a hard core football fan, and always watched ESPN to get the Days recap (NFL primetime). And of course ESPN usually carries the Sunday night games.
When they announce that the blow hard is gone, I will watch them again.

knew that money is the reason for almost everything bad that happens. Check the ratings in a few weeks and see if this was a smart or dumb move on the part of ESPN.

Not much. They set up this schitck where Rush throws one of those red replay "challenge" flags from his desk onto the main set whenever he disagrees with the crew.
Last Sunday he tossed the flag and they never got around it. Giggle. Irvin and Jackson just kept talking 'til the commercial break.
He's basically a glib but amateurishly ill-informed fan as compared to the pros on the set who have full-time jobs watching game films and such.

This vile, racist creature started his ESPN career by complaining about the NFL minority hiring rules.
He hates all non-white people. Degrading them and their history is his bread and fucking butter.
I still expect Tom Jackson to say something, but even if he does, I won't see it. No more ESPN for me.
Not that I could watch it anymore anyway. Since Disney bought it, they cannot show sports without "producing" it. Truly stupid, very distracting, especially since I don't watch tv much and am unaccostomed to the strobe flashes and subliminal advertising bursts that bookmark every single thing they show.
Phew. I miss sports, but what can you do? ESPN is now total shit.
