Probably the dumbest part of the medical marijuana "debate" is

that you can have medical Cocaine and even medical Morphine.

In fact, if you are terminally ill a doctor will just go ahead and prescribe enough liquid morphine to last you the rest of your "treatment". Warning you, of course, that if you should accidentally take the entire amount you would OD by falling gently asleep and never waking up. Not that anyone terminally ill would want to do that. Even if you aren't terminally ill you can have morphine, a highly addictive pain killer, on a patient controlled drip.

Thats okay but not pot.

Valium is ok, halcyon is ok, both sold on the black market, but not pot.

Its goofy, just plain goofy. Perhaps they are afraids it will lead to gay marriage.
