Are you tired of covering for the people who have problems? |

(the following thread is sarcasm for those who are unable to detect it)
Are you tired of lending a helping hand to the coworker whose wife is severely depressed and nearly suicidal?
Are you tired of the coworker with sickle cell anemia who keeps using it to take both paid and unpaid time off?
Are you tired of those people whose parents are so inconsiderate as to die during the week? Causing you to have to cover for them.
Are you tired of those pet owners who take off when they take their pets to the vet or come in late to work because "fluffy" barfed all over the floor...and then they spend the rest of the day "kvetching" about how fluffy is ...and they don't get any work done?
Are you tired of those people who come over to your office to say hi...but they are interrupting your perfect 100% productivity schedule?
Are you tired of those people who can't work because they are disabled or terribly ill causing you to pay more taxes to support them????
Are you tired of donating to charity to cover for those people who aren't as smart as you and didn't "plan ahead" for all possible disasters?
Are you tired of just dealing with those people who aren't perfect like you???
Are you tired of those people who get dumped by their boyfriend/girlfriend/alienfriend...and they just ruin your 100% good day with their sob story????
:sarcasm:

4. I don't either but apparently there are a lot of people like that... |
|
it is a touchy issue for me because I have seen people actually be angry about someone taking time off to deal with an illness ...and act as though they were lucky.... (my coworker had sickle cell...which is terribly painful and when I heard how people acted as though he had to "toughen up" I thought they were insane...meanwhile he was single and I was single and I had to cover for him on a trip and I never regretted helping him out..)

It is against the rules to continue a flame-war from another thread.
