Did prez bush sign into law something about mental hospitals and that

i heard something about this but haven't seen it ANYWHERE in the news... any links to this story from the "media"

1. Old, old story.

Had a post on here a while back that said Bush was going to force all schoolchildren (all 52 MILLION) plus school staff members to have psychological testing. IMO, it's serious tin-foil hattery. Yes, there was some commission on mental health that pointed out (correctly) that identifying mental health issues early could lead to better treatment, but the TFHers are taking that to mean all kids are going to be tested somehow, and that if they're found to be mentally ill, they're going to be medicated involuntarily. It's a huge unsubstantiated leap.

I work in a school district. Maybe there are some out there who think this is a good idea, but I just can't imagine who. Besides that, it's flat out impossible to test all the kids. We only have 5 psychs for a district of 6000!

But this issue has been running around for a couple of years now.
