not allowing comments at the moment, but will be starting up membership to register and post soon. They were swamped with spammers/freepers, etc and had to shut off comments for the time being.

http://www.tompaine.com/

http://www.axisoflogic.com/

I also visit here every day:

http://www.wsws.org/

though I have nothing to do with their organisation. Good news for lefties though.

4. Zmag and CounterPunch.org
If you use Firefox as a browser you can have a toolbar with websites of your choice. You just drag from the address bar to the "Bookmarks toolbar." If you right click while over a vacant spot on the bookmarks toolbar, you get a menu that lets you open all of the bookmarks on the toolbar. You can also open all the websites in a folder.

Zmag/Znet - http://www.zmag.org/weluser.htm - brings in stories from all over the world and is an example of what real nightly news by the networks should be because it actually covers the countries of the world. Zmag is like the home of Chomsky on the Internet and he has his own section in Znet blogs.

CounterPunch- http://www.counterpunch.org/- is the best muckraking website that illuminates the corruption of our country.

But I'll make a deal with you... if you add Rawstory.com to your list, I'll add Ratboy's Anvil. :-)
