What an f-in LIAR!
I had to turn off the television for fear that I'd toss something through the screen. Can you believe that our freakin' president was giving an economic speech and was declaring that "the Congress" needed to learn to be frugal with taxpayer money?

:wtf:

4. Clinton's surplus and Bush's deficit
Bush looted Clinton's surplus and gave it to his rich buddies. Then he started his war and drove us so deep in debt that we may all have to make shirts for the Chinese as slave laborers to pay for it.

11. And even during surplus they attacked him for wasteful spending
And for adding to the deficit.

They attacked him for the debt racked up by Bush I and Reagan!!!!

And now Bush even gets a free pass on the debt he is tacking on!

3. Of course. Bush runs against Congress.
It's part of his schtick of blaming everyone else while implicitly asserting that the best course is to follow his orders.

That Bush's orders is what has blown a hole in the budget is of no moment.

Power is all that matters, and slamming Congress is one way to get Congress to bow before him.

5. What's their next spin...
that Dems actually control congress?

and the sheeple will say "He's damn right they need to be frugal"

Perpetual war AND the complete destruction of our social safety net & infrastructure...how much more will it take before the sheeple wake up to what they are really after?

7. Sure. Through the filibuster debate. Gotta make trains run on time.
They can't get ANYTHING done because those darn democrats have 45 votes.

Like any good protofascist, the Bushies will claim that getting things done for the good of america means that slow, deliberate and contentious congress must be done away with and that decisions be made by clear eyed, determined, strong and decisive President.

I remember a friend of mine whose mom grew up in fascist Italy. She said the fascist government didn't make the trains run on time, but it did cause difficulty for anyone complaining about tardiness. Isn't that the way it is now, here? Things are terrible, things are going wrong, bad things are being done, and there isn't anyone to complain to.

9. What kills me is
the f-in LIAR by his constant use of "the Congress" implies Democrats are to blame. It's his party that controls Congress, ya know the fiscally responsible party...... You just know the unthinking morans are blaming Democrats when that f-in LIAR chastises 'the Congress' for not being 'frugal with taxpayer money'. :banghead:

10. Every time he gives a speech, I'm stunned
that there are people out there that actually believe anything he says. He promised during his first campaign that he wouldn't touch Social Security. He just said outright that they dip into Social Security to pay for "other government programs". Simple answer to Social Security: STOP TAKING OUR MONEY!

And why is it that the science on nuclear energy is so solid, but the science on global warming is bogus? Or the science regarding evolution? They pick and chose which parts of the Bible they believe and they pick and chose which science they believe. UNBELIEVABLE!
