WHY is the "Missing Boy Scout" still news?
If I had a Scout who couldn't make it 3 days in the woods ok, I'd bust him back down to Bobcat so fast....

Anyway, Why?
Because while Wall-Mart Murka is going "Oh! he had to make it THREE days without his Gameboy or Cable TV!" they won't ask "How many today?"

1726 as of Noon today.

1. Because it's a MIRACLE!!
God chose to save this boy, even though he let the other boy stay missing to this day.

19. The mother was praying for him to be found meanwhile the kid
was hiding from people searching for him.

"He had two thoughts going through his head all the time," she said. "Toby's always told him that 'If you get lost, stay on the trail.' So he stayed on the trail. We've also told him don't talk to strangers ... when an ATV or horse came by he got off the trail ... when they left, he got back on the trail."

2. Because God and Jesus saved him. Its a miracle
It wasn't the boys own knowledge of survival methods. And it certainly had nothing to do with the hundreds of people who helped in the rescue effort.

Its a full blown miracle, thanks to God and Jesus.

Therefore, its proof that they exist and somehow is proof that they agree with and endorse Bush.

10. God saved him...answered his prayer..
He would have been rescued SOONER if he hadn't been so freaked out when he saw "strangers on horses who might abduct him"{.. He HID from them..and that was on day ONE..That's what got him lost.. He was avoiding his RESCUERS..

His parents apparently drilled into his brain, that someone might want to abduct him..That scared him more than being lost in the woods..

13. It's diversion.

Scarborough and Hannity were both saturated with this story, and the Aruba girl. Hannity does nothing without a political reason. This is diversion from Delay, DSM, environmental document falsifying, looking like complete asses over the Shiavo Autopsy, etc.

15. Same thing took place on Monday...
It's almost like they are perpetually waiting for the next story, actually any story, that has the potential to kill two or three hours with non-stop blathering.

Monday, the second helicopter in a week goes down in the water in New York City.

FOX, CNN and MSNBC, all shift into a whole new gear, as they pound every bit of air time out of an incident that should be a local story, especially since no one was seriously injured.

1726 indeed.

Who cares?
Michael Jackson's mother is on Scarborough Country tonight!
That blond chick is still missing.
Someone squirted Tom Cruise!

We are so screwed.

16. The boy hid from his searchers.
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/8313299/

BOUNTIFUL, Utah - The 11-year-old boy lost for four days in the Utah mountains had deliberately hid from searchers, thinking they were strangers who might kidnap him, his mother said Wednesday.

"His biggest fear, he told me, was that someone would steal him," Jody Hawkins said of her son Brennan, who was rescued Tuesday afternoon by a searcher who came across the boy before he could hide.

He had two things on his mind, she added, "stay on the trail and don't talk to strangers," she added at a press conference outside their home in Bountiful, Utah. As a result, she said, he would walk along a trail but then hide when someone approached.

17. The irony in this is almost too much to bear.
""His biggest fear, he told me, was that someone would steal him," Jody Hawkins said of her son Brennan, who was rescued Tuesday afternoon by a searcher who came across the boy before he could hide.

Irrational sensational media is now orgiastically glorifying this story which happened in large part because of unrealistic fears created by irrational sensational media reporting.

20. So did they have to Tase him into submission when they found him?
"His biggest fear, he told me, was that someone would steal him,"

Uh, Kid, you're LOST. You should WANT these people to find you.

So are they going to want his parents to pay for all but the FIRST day of the search, since he was playing "Japanese Soldier hiding in the Jungle since 1945" with his search parties?
