All Politics is LOCAL And CBS got my view tonight showing millions still
without Power tonight, VA, DC, Maryland...Interviews with folks who said they aren't hearing anything from officials or power companies......are they some fringe folks?

I keep posting that this storm will cost Bush.....because I know the "Clamp Down" on the news is taking place.

How do I know this? Because I know what happened with the "clamp down" during Poppy's Admin with Hurricane Hugo in Charleston, SC and Hurricane Andrew to a greater extent. (Given that we weren't as sophisticated then as we are now, with internet and FEMA...had to be instituted because things were so bad) BUT........I'm telling you Isabel is going to COST BUSH!

Many or Most of these folks NEVER REALIZED what GOVERNMENT DOES FOR YOU! This STORM.....will show them why we need Government.....Mark my words on this..........

One more spike in Chimpy's Coffin.........

3. I survived Hurricane Andrew in '92!
It took far too long for help to arrive, and after the shock wore off and rebuilding began (6 months to a year later) residents were victimized again by "hurricane hustlers" posing as contractors! On top of all that, it was concluded that much of the damage was because of lax building codes, lax enforcement of building codes, and shoddy construction (remember Country Walk) by major housing developers.

All of those issues fall under the government's umbrella. Yet, you'll find some people that experienced the hurricane and it's aftermath, and cried the loudest about not getting help, who still mindlessly grumble against government's social safety net.
