flag burning is a thought crime . . . |
the approved method of disposing of old American flags is to burn them . . . so when the American Legion burns a flag, it's okay because their thoughts while doing so are "honorable" . . . but when a protester burns a flag -- same act -- it's illegal because their thoughts are dishonorable? . . . ridiculous . . .

4. In Germany flag burning is a criminal offense. Even the burning |
of a flag of other nations. UNLESS you have painted the flag yourself :) (Please don't ask me what sense this makes)
