because you had been a little moody, remember? I told you a little story in a post to try to make you feel better, but you did not respond.
You care about things, you want to see change and sometimes it is frustrating...for all of us. But it would be better if you waited until you are a little calmer before you start threads. Your rants, passionate as they are, sound demeaning to those of us who stand with you.

17. No, I suck! It is all because of my poor choice of words, my over use

of exclamation points and the fact that there is no inflection online.

While I was a little shocked not to see more talking about this, and shocked to see a few completely dissing this, my thread was a rather failed attempt to start a long running thread on the report, it's findings, and Dean.

Also, as soon as I typed it, I had to leave to pick up my children, so I couldn't straighten it out or edit to clarify.

Carla, I just really suck at getting my point across.

To anyone that ever reads ANY of my posts I might say strong things, but I DO NOT come here to trash people. I don't like hurting people's feelings. If I have hurt your feelings then, or if you are personally offended by me then I apologize, that was not my intention. Even though I have a piss poor way of expressing it.

I have nothing but love for folks that come to DU out of a love for truth and goodwill. And generally my ranting it is directed at more of an attitude or characteristic that bothers me, rather than any individual posters.

However there was this one guy that decided to call me a stalker in the making and that dude pissed me off, I told him to fuck off and I feel very justified in doing so. It was a personal attack and he does not know me. He obviously has no clue how much I utterly abhore the idea of stalking someone. For him to even suggest that I would be willing to do something so sick and twisted to another person made me snap.

But honestly folks, I'm working on it. Please, please, please don't take my rants so seriously, I'm venting for my own sake, not to hurt anyone's feelings or to make you personally feel bad.

When reading my rants, try to add upwards inflection more. Instead of assuming that I am yelling, look at it more as whining/pleading. Apply to any really angry reading posts and I think that it may be clearer as to how I am intending it to be read.

quote from the report: "the purpose of this investigation is not to challenge or question the results of the election in any way."

This is not compatible by any stretch of the imagination with your statement "the election was robbed."

In fact, people like myself who have been arguing along the lines of the DNC report, which matches the spirit of the various dem election reform legislation proposals, have been drowned out by the "fraud" activists.

down in saving PBS, and Social Security, and DSM, and standing up for Dean and Bolton and crackpot judges and, and, and, and...

But none of it matters if we don't fix these election problems.

When is there going to be another big push? It needs to be organized and coordinated with some of the groups (e.g., PDA, MoveOn, etc.).

Unless we get a unified front on this issue, like we've had on DSM, we're not going to get it done before '06.

Is anything like this in the works through VR, or some other group???
