I callzem likes I seezem. This Dean appearance on PBS is the BEST |
|
I have ever seen him over the years.
He is showing better timing and clearer command of what he wants to say.
If the lawmakers can get a grip on DSM, and various other congressional efforts to counter BushInc., and Dean can grapple with the problems of a GOP controlled media and expose the control of the voting machines, this nation will have its best chance to fight the fascists.

I'm no big fan of Dean, but I think head of the DNC is a great place for him. He came off very well.

2. He's showing his own comfort with the role. |
|
The position suits him and he's really grown into it.

He's so perfect for the job. He really pushes their buttons and know what to say and he's great at grassroot efforts and campaigning all the time and all over the country.

4. Yes. Ifill is doing the interview. |
|
He had a very uneven performance with Ifill during the campaign. This time he handled the pressurized iciness that is Ifill quite handily.

Ms Ifill is a little too self-satisfied these days for me to much care for her.

5. Howard Dean's mother was a Republican and the first time |
|
she voted as a Democrat was the last election. She's 75 years old. This was his answer to Cheney's comment about only his mother could love him to Gwen Ifel (sp?).
Love you Howard! :loveya:

7. Yup. He's still growing, like all of his. |
|
But he started with the right premises- that's what sets him apart. He's going to keep getting bigger and bigger. I wouldn't be surprised to eventually see him elected President.
He's charismatic, straight-talking, and- yes- even level-headed. He's in tune with what is right about America. He's a great leader.

17. He gets "HIS" point across...I love it......he is really giving the |
|
thugs a run for their money. Every question he was asked had a positive, logical answer. The host was stumped. Go Howard!

18. He really was good at steering the conversation back to what |
|
he wanted to talk about, rather than even comment on her blather about Durbin and all of that crap.
Thank you, PBS. Even if I did have to suffer through Ms. Ifill.
