I have a question- if a Senator/Rep can not fulfill their term in office.. |
|
.. the Governer of the state can name a replacement to fill the term till an election can be held, correct?
conversely, can the Governer REMOVE a Senator/Rep of their state if they are behaving in a manner detrimental to the state or it's people???

1. The governor can only replace a senator |
|
he cannot replace a representative.
and I dont think he can remove anybody who has been legally elected.

And aren't we glad it's that way! I wouldn't want a governor to decide whether a rep or senator is representing the state properly. That's for the voters to determine next time around, unless there are grounds for impeachment.
