I'm real sick of this "Durbin" distraction
that is all it is -- a bloody distraction.

I've flipped thru all the news channels -- starting with PBS NewsHour.

All Durbin all the time.

The Republicans are very good at the art of distraction.

We should be talking about the substance of Durbin's comments.

We should be talking about the DSM.

We should be talking about Bush paying lip service to "support our troops".

Yet all we are talking about is that rat fink fucker Durbin, who had the nerve to back off and apologize.

I personally don't feel that way about him, but there have been several threads full of comments that reflect that sentiment.

1. I think its just about over
He apologized. There's no fuel left.

I just scanned Yahoo's top stories - nothing there.

Then I scanned the "politics" section - not there either.

It was an attempted distraction, but it fizzeled when Durbin apologized.

That's my take.

3. Bush will never let them see the light of day
Those pictures will be withheld to "protect the troops".

Any one wanna bet how the Supreme Court would rule on it?

You need to change your viewing habits.

10. Look on the bright side
While 300,000 Americans watch MSNBC beat off to Rovian porn, 30,000,000 Americans are watching a bunch of B grade stars try to dance and not step on each other foot.

Now, I prefer reading. This, for example...

12. No
But I do now! Unfortunately the AAR station in Chicago is only on from sun up until sun down and just broadcast Morning Sedition, Jerry, Al, Ed, Randi and then go off the air. In the winter its really gonna suck because they will go off the air at 4:30pm.

But there is always internet streaming!
