as well as signing the petition. The staffer answering the phone took my message then asked if I'd like to leave my name and address, he stated, "I recognize that name from your many emails, I will tell him that you called".

Ron Lewis (R-KY) is the only one KY has in Congress that will reply or even listen to people. I email him on a regular schedule. He knows how I feel on lots of things like using fair trade to get corn and soy for ethanol. Maybe I should email him again. He might think I let him off the hook.

CONTACT THEM, damnit!!!
Call them, write them, e-mail them, corner them in the grocery store if you can...
If the CPB is allowed to cut funding by 40%, there will not be many local PBS stations left in the USA...
