Don't taxpayers fund Armed Forces Radio as well as PBS?
Edited on Thu Jun-23-05 11:15 AM by janeaustin
Regarding public funding of "liberal" PBS

Don't taxpayers fund Armed Forces Radio?

Rush Limbaugh spews his hateful right-wing bile on that network straight into our barracks as well as into the homes of Iraqis.

Perhaps this information should be part of the PBS discussion going on today in Congress and on cable news.

1. You're right
That's a fair point - although I understand that they broadcast PBS on Armed Forces Radio as well.

2. Didn't the Hatch Act insist that Armed Forced Radio NOT broadcast
political commentary? Why the hell is Rush on there?

4. Yeah, silly me!
<Slaps forehead>

I do wish this were part of the discussion, since PBS's enemies are all in a dither about taxpayer funding of point-of-view broadcasts.
