12. No, Actually this is surprisingly good news.
Kerry's status is improving. He had been down in all recent polls on this comparison. As the losing candidate, people felt compelled to go with the winner, many people apparently do not view Bush positively any longer and are not apprehensive about showing support for Kerry. I've got my fingers crossed this trend continues!

2. Is anybody now doubting the intelligence of the American...
..populace?.
I mean, Bush and Kerry TIED? If the General population had any sense at all, Kerry should absolutely destroy Bush in Any Poll.

6. God that may be the most depressing thing I've read all day!
There's been lots to depress me - but the notion that after all this CRAP that Bush would still get enough votes to tie ANYONE is simply staggering.

8. This is the one thing that gives me comfort and pain at the same time
comfort because I know that the morans who voted for * in 2004, mostly from the red states are going to be screwed big time by his policies

pain because I know that the people who voted against * in 2004, will pay for the actions of the MORANS who voted for him

4. Good one,
Maybe we could have "Snap Elections" as parliamentary governments do. That would reduce the time available for the repugs to plan their election stealing program.

5. another worthless poll
we had our chance in 2000, 2002, and 2004, and blew it each time

in 2000 all Gore had to do was call for a recount in all of Florida, not just a few select counties

in 2004, Kerry brought up his military service at the convention, and then didn't even bother to defend it when the swift pukes trashed it

if the polls are accurate, then today people have buyers remorse, especially about Iraq, and what do we hear from the democrats in congress?

Why can't the dems talk about a substintive energy policy?

7. I don't like either of them. Same goes for McCain & Hillary.
The difference being that in '08, if it's McCain vs Hillary, I'll be voting (G) to spare the wear and tear on my nose. Something I should have done in '04.

9. Now WHY is this important? They're comparing Kerry's grades
to Bush's, now second guessing a stolen election.

What is the point, except to bring somebody else down to Bush's level? I don't think we have anybody that can stoop that low.

11. I think the most important thing to note is how popular McCain is.
I'm debating wether I would rather run against a rabid right winger like frist or jeb, who have a smaller chance of winning, or run against McCain who is more likely to win, but would be moderate.
