He said he was going to be a "uniter"? Name one thing he has united... |
|
the people on? He was trained at the elbow of Lee Atwater and he does not know the meaning of compromise or bipartisanship. He believes in playing hardball and kicking his opponent when he is down. What was the first bill he signed once he came to the WH? It was some type of controversial anti-abortion edict. He only wants compromise from his opponents..then he calls it bipartisanship...like he did when he was Governor of Texas. So what's the best way to fight an opponent like this?
We have to use brass knuckles just like he would do if given the opportunity. If he is down, I say kick the shit out of the bastard. He would do the same for you. Do you doubt it? But we don't have to resort to fraud or dirty tricks - we just have to be willing to tell the truth - just as Ted Kennedy has done the last couple of days.
"I'm a uniter - not a divider", he said. Yeah, sure. You would think for a person that did not win the majority of votes from the American people, he would have been a little more humble and willing to work with the opposing Party? But that was never in the cards. He was ready to stick it to the Democrats at every turn and will again if given the opportunity. Well, it looks like the Democrats are wise to Jr's political tricks and he will not get another chance to be a statesman in a difficult and divided time. He blew it.

2. Oh STFU! Bush has united MUCH. You're just blind: |
|
Bush has united:
1 - Democrats (against Bush)
2 - Terrorists (against the US)
3 - Europe (against the US) 4 - The UN (against the US)
Just to name a few.

6. Unless you were making a rhetorical statement, I'd guess that * has |

successfully united the 1% of the United States population that possesses the majority of the wealth. He's given them "temporary" tax cuts, eased and eliminated polution laws, made it less expensive to die, and given them more power generally.

The gall! After everything that had gone down in Florida! It took the Dems a long time to learn the tricks of this bastard, but I think they got his number now?

the Second Coming. As for the rest of America, Ann Coulter says we should all be tried for treason. United and separated at the same time.
Right now, I'd give anything for a time machine visit to Inauguration Day 2005, just for a glimpse of what we can expect for the next 4 years.

Bush briefly united the Government's income versus expenditure lines on the budget graph, but they kept going on the same trend-lines that he established, and now they're divided again, and by a record-setting distance.
