Ever get the feeling there is a huge political play afoot? |
|
I mean something bigger than the scandals that are rampant in Washington, that goes wayyyyyy beyond the lies, greed and incompetency of the * Administration?
Any thoughts?

8. The history that bothers me is that |
|
fascist regimes are taken down from the outside, not the inside.
China can take us down (financially) any time they want. You can bet that Europe is contemplating the same thing. The rest of the world will likely not put up with Bush/Rove and Co. much longer.
It all depends on which countries support or resist fascism in this New World Order.

9. Lets say (hypothetically of course) |
|
Edited on Thu Jun-23-05 11:44 PM by are_we_united_yet
This Country was up to its elbows in debt This Country's economy was falling apart This Country had sold, outsourced or dismantled a large portion of its Industrial production capacity.
This Country has committed significant military resources in a major stabilization effort.
This Country is running out of raw materials for conventional energy production.
Is it me or does it sound like such a hypothetical Country may not be 100% in "warding off strangers?"

10. We'll soon be governed by those alien to us...human beings...2008 |
|
Edited on Thu Jun-23-05 11:41 PM by autorank
Yes, things look promising for the return of those pesky humans to a governing role in the US Federal government. Aliens will start departing in 2006 in a phased withdrawal and by 2008, the "space rapture" will be complete.
Humans may well change the style of government, as well as, some substantive changes as well. Expect a return to voting as usual. The only election fraud remaining will be the 3,000,000 a year largely minority votes discarded as "spoiled." Remedy of this problem would be to much of a shock to Americans since it would ensure massive losses to Republican candidates.
Another trend in human governance initiatives will be a return to the appearance of compassion through highly publicized social services programs that are merely adequate for the minority of citizens covered The traditional grandiose titles and program parameters, never intended to be met, will return as well.
Alien light will be the theme showing that, despite their departure, their legacy lives on.
