omg, were are truly in deep shit if the Col. really believes this pack of lies. Can you say Iraqnam?

~snip~
"I think there will be a lot of small attacks in the next couple of weeks with the Iraqi prime minister going to the United States," Lieutenant Colonel Michael Pryor of the US 3rd Infantry Division's Task Force Baghdad said.

"They're trying to influence the international population through the media that Iraq may not be as secure as everyone makes it out to be."

~snip~

But according to Pryor, insurgent attacks are becoming less coordinated and less successful. "We think the intent is just to cause a lot of noise to make it seem like there are a lot of activities," he said.

1. These "less successful attacks" are sure killing a lot of people...
Maybe WE should try being "less coordinated"...

...oh, wait. We tried that already...didn't work for us...

2. Either Pryor Is Full of Shit In Re: "Attacks Less Coordinated & Succesful"
Or all the other military officials are, because just about everybody who I've heard on this topic in the last week have at least admitted that the attacks are becoming more effective and sophisticated, even if some of them deny that's anything to worry about.

Full of shit.

Because EVERYBODY else except him and Dick "Last Throes" Cheney have been saying that the "insurgents" are more coordinated and their attacks are more sophisticated in a technical and tactical sense.

They are using infrared detonators. They are using shaped charges that will penetrate armored vehicles. They are timing their attacks to inflict maximum tactical damage (blowing up a bomb, waiting for help to arrive, blowing up a second bomb to get those guys too).

Updated: 9:29 a.m. ET June 24, 2005BAGHDAD, Iraq - A suicide car bomber slammed into a 7-ton U.S. military vehicle in Fallujah on Friday, and Marine sources told NBC News that five Marines were killed and 10 others wounded.

Three of the dead were female Marines and two male, the sources said. Earlier reports said all five were women.
