They started this, and we must obstruct until they are OUT!!!

2. We vote for the war in Afghanistan, and they just lie about it.
Compromising in the concept that they won't beat us up is nuts. They cream us for things we don't believe without so much as a blink.

We have to do what's right and what's popular with full knowledge these scums will hate us even more for it.

6. Also, the White House, ergo George W Bush is backing Rove's
...statements completely. The attack should be on shrub as well. Even Rumsfeld denied in committee when questioned by Hillary Clinton knowing anything about the statements, but clearing stated that he did not make them.

that if the morans in the U.S. didn't elect them, another terrorist attack would occur under a democrat. THAT WAS EQUALLY OUTRAGEOUS

8. Exactly, I haven't heard one Repub criticize Rove. Infact, they are
trying to make it seem like we are ridiculous for demanding an apology. They are much better at this than we are.

4. Obstructing alone is not enough!
Did you see Dean on TDS last night? Stewart gave him such a softball-the challenge is to cite the Democratic alternative daily-to build the image of a program, not just be "not this evil crowd." I got nothing against calling out mofos for fucking their mothers, but we must also build the clear vision of an alternative plan.

9. ok, you have a point
1. why don't the democrats present an energy plan?
2. the polls indicate the public is not disillusioned by the war in Iraq, why don't the democrats throw out a plan which includes a time table
3. why don't the democrats throw out a social security plan, like rolling back the tax refund for the top 1-2% of income earners
4. why don't the democrats throw out a solution for medicare which is the real problem, NOT social security
5. why don't the democrats protect jobs in America

11. Because BushCo will adopt any popular idea as its own
Edited on Fri Jun-24-05 10:23 AM by Atman
They've proven that time and time again. That is exactly what they are waiting for. They KNOW the democrats actually represent America, and they know they are hopelessly out of touch with these same Americans. Their only hope is for US to tell them what to do, so they can say "See, we solved your problems and the democrats are just whining crybabies with no plan!

FUCK THE GOP. They wanted every branch of government to themselves, they wanted to shut out the democrats. They've already taken everything they wanted. Now, it is time for them to show America why their one-party rule is so good for us. If they cannot do that, then it is time for the frog-march.

15. The repug meme is that we have no plan, no vision, etc.
and for all his plans, Kerry did not get past that in the election. Job protection, medicare and medical insurance, withdrawing from Iraq, meaningful approaches to global warming and environmental protection, energy are all winning programs. As is talking about the destructive radicalism of the Fourth Reich.
