Breakfast in Bed
"It's better to fight them over there than here". It's one of the great mantras being fed to the redneck faithful as justification for the great Iraq blunder. Although it's just inane on the face of it, (unless I missed that Jihad Naval buildup), I gotta admit that our strategy of starting wars in hostile places should definitely ratchet back the necessity for gun turrets on Wrigley Field and time soon.

As long as we keep serving up our young men and women to "Insurgents" on a platter "over there", why should they bother coming over here? Honestly. What are the chances that terrorists would have been able to kill and maim 15,000+ young Americans in the past two years within our own borders? About 0%?

Why bother putting on the robe and slippers, walking all the way to the kitchen, when you can get breakfast in bed served by a smirking chimp?

I would add that the statement "What are the chances that terrorists would have been able to kill and maim 15,000+ young Americans in the past two years within our own borders? About 0%?" is made more ironic when we realize that these are highly trained, highly skilled young American soldiers who we are finding out are difficult to replace or substitute for.
