2. Certainly no more than Pubs did about Durbin!
It was the Pubs that made the decision to go with the nasty zingers, so now they're going to have to just live with them!

7. Voted!
Left a message saying that this is just ANOTHER diversion by The Corrupt Ones. Told them they needed to get on the DSM story and that they were being "Fuzzed" again.

Then I asked them "When will you ever grow up"?????

12. What a f'ed up question...
Rove basically said we are giving aid to the terrorists. How would one expect the Democrats to react?

13. We're Spinning And Spinning
Next...comes the headlines "Democrats over react to Rove remarks". Then there's the spin to the counterspin that needs to be respun so it'll be spun more effectively.

Tomorrow's question: How often do Democrats beat their wives.

17. My response for what it's worth
9/11 was a tragedy for all Americans liberals and conservatives alike.

Immediately after 9/11 the country came together. Most liberals supported ousting the Taliban from Afganistan bacause they wanted to punish the people who attacked us.

It is 2005. Osama Bin Laden is still a free man. Aren't we entitled to a little outrage.

President Bush took our good will and through lies and deceptions that many are only now waking up to, invaded a country that had not attacked us without planning for what would happen once the enemy conventional forces had been defeated and the guerilla war began.

The result has been that we are stuck in this hideous quagmire of a war, and the good name of our country has been dragged through the mud of Abu Ghraib and Guantanamo Bay.

The Bush administration's response: Label anyone who questions their policies a friend of the enemy, in short a traitor.

Karl Rove should be fired for demeaning his fellow American citizens.

21. Done and posted this note:
The Democrats should seize this opportunity that the distractor-in-chief (he is usually in his basement, this time however, Bush's poll numbers occupied his space, so it was necessary for him to come out in the open) has provided out of desperation, and set the public record straight on who exactly loves this country more and therefore take effective and intelligent steps against terrorism.

The Republicans cannot handle the truth of this situation, they should be careful what they wish for.

25. Question - Are Repukes making too much of Durbin's comments?
How come they never ask that question?

Fuck Rove....My husband and I lost 5 friends in the WTC on 9/11...How dare that fat shit make any suggestions that Dems are not people who responded and cared about 9/11...

Evil Mofo... :grr:

Here's a statement: I think that Karl Rove was excited and got a boner on 9/11! I think that evil mother fucker actually was giddy when realizing what the tragedy of 9/11 could mean for his twisted plan for the Bush Dynasty....

I think that statement rings far more true than anything Rove has said about Dems....

29. What a pointed, loaded question
I'm disgusted, but of course not surprised, that MSNBC chose this as the question of the day.

Gotta pump up the prez in advance of his big speech, and play right into the Rove hand!

I sent MSNBC a nice scolding along with my "No" vote.

31. Voted and here's my reply via their comment box:
Rove is doing what he's done best for years and years: distract the mainstream media from what's important. Look at the president's falling approval ratings. Look at the rising death toll in Iraq. Look at the utter failure of the 90-day push to sell a revamped Social Security.

This administration is failing in everything it attempts. The only way to keep the media from pouncing on that fact is to distract with meaningless drivel like this.

It seems to be working as media outlets like MSNBC are eating it up like the good little lap-dogs they are.
