Vietnam. The Commies will take over the world in domino fashion and the rest of the world won't respect us. We should do now what we should have done then--declare victory and go home.

The US should get out of Iraq, but just leaving - with the way things are would be very dangerous. Please see this thread

A pullout should involve negotiations with Iran, Syria, Turkey and all of the various groups in Iraq to make sure you don't leave Iraq with a burning fuse attached.
