Wow. I knew they lied, but DAMN. Ed Klein is being torn up by Conason.

This guy Klein lied his fucking ASS off in that Hillary book. Personally, I think Hillary is just a little boogeyman the far right likes to drag out the specter of every now and then to try to scare everyday people on the far right, but honestly, for most people, this book and anything otherwise "oh my God!" about Hillary is just a big yawner.

Watch for Klein's book in the bargain bin and in overruns soon. LOL!

He didn't even KNOW what Melanne looked like, had never seen her, but called her "mannish-looking?" WTF? Didn't even know what her NAME WAS? ("MELANIE???" How much you want to bet some stupid knuckle-dragging right winger saw "Melanne" written out and assumed it was pronounced like "Melanie" then started saying it that way so other knuckle-draggers thought it was spelled and pronounced that way, too? So even the TOP reich-wingers are barely literate, apparently.)

This has been THE most enjoyable show I have listened to on AAR, I'd have to say. Klein didn't even have an answer for ANY of his lies.

They must have detailed seven or eight lies told by Klein in the book, and I bet they were just getting started.

Conason was breath-takingly good. He just smashed him to bits. Towards the end, Klein was hardly saying anything and not because they weren't giving him a chance, either. He just went sort of silent. But what could he say? The book is just a big pile of lies (what a shocker, huh? LOL!).

15. I think they were running out of time and Al wanted to point out

many other errors in the book so Al would say "Let's move on to the next error". It didn't matter if they moved on cause Joe lept at every factual error Klein made.

It did not sound like Al and Katherine were trying to shield Klein in any way, just wanted to give a picture of how many errors there were.

they are going to be gone. I hoped immediately that Joe would take the show for a week. My hopes were dashed when Katherine said they were going to play "Best of" shows. Yuk!

Guess what? Klein is probably chewing out his publicist RIGHT NOW.
