Thank You Ed Klein!!
For doing something that I previously thought was impossible. By being so transparently sloppy and dishonest, you've made it nearly impossible for future RW smear books to gain a foothold -- whether they be about Senator Clinton, John Kerry, or whoever is the nominee in 2008. I believe in my core that John Kerry screwed up by not cutting down the Swift Boat crap before it ever gained traction -- this farce should make that job a lot easier.

1. The early feedback on Swift Vets was that their facts didn't hold up.
Except the rightwing noise machine decided this was their best chance to lie about Kerry and they kept the liars propped up for months. They KNEW the book was all lies, but, they needed the lies at that point.

Odd that the rightwing pundits are all acting in unison against THIS polemic. Almost as if they're protecting Sen. Clinton's chances to run.

2. Hell, for writing an anti-Hillary books that even neo-cons hate
I never thought I'd see the likes of Dick MOrris, Peggy Noonan, Bill O'Reilly and even Rush Limbaugh go negative on anything written against Hillary Clinton (hell Rush even said that it was us liberals that are making the big stink about how bad the book it - try and figure that one out).

I was reading an article over at Salon and one reason why neo-cons hate this book - because they know when we get too "Anti-Clinton" the country rallies around Hillary and makes her into the Victem which makes her even more popular with everyone

3. Rush actually claimed that the book
was a conspiracy by the left-wing to win sympathy for Hillary. It was freakin hilarious. They are so desperate at this point that if I didn't think they were going to make sure public opinion shifted to their side I'd be laughing. Instead I'm waiting for the next bomb to fall.. :(
