4. Great cartoon. I was thinking earlier about how Bush* might

notice a chilly atmosphere in his meeting with Chirac, who is no doubt aware of Americans (including Americans in Congress) changing the name of "French fries" to "freedom fries," pouring French wines out in the gutter, boycotting French toast, and so on. Bush* should have been a leader and pointed out how foolish all that was. I never dreamed I'd see that sort of chauvinism in the United States. (Say, Paschall, do the French have a word for "chauvinism"?) ;-)
