Did the DU keep the DSM alive?

I remember going online to read about the DSM and John Conyers Jnr and was totally disgusted at the lack of media coverage it was given.

I then went on DU and saw that we were all emailing the media about this, the media seemed to pick up on it a day or two later.

Is the DU that powerful?, is it up to us to help keep the DSM in the public eye?

there's what 70,000 members here? If 1/2 sent an email to CNN they'd sit up and notice.

Imagine it's 560,000 (those who signed the petition) and we all promised to watch the coverage? That's triple the normal audience.

We have that kind of power. So does the right unfortunately.

boxer as all feed and are fed thru moveon and many more i dont know. we are it, the internet. we no longer have the media. this is it. time to make internet left community strong. actually, we already are strong and we have seen the effects of all of us, ......for a while, different ways. and more ways showing up every day

i believe du wasa big part, in putting conyers out there, and supporting conyers to keep it going.
